Remote Raid Passes were “never intended” to dominate the experience.

Niantic’s hugely successful mobile title Pokémon GO has announced there are some changes coming to the game’s Remote Raid Passes early next month.

On 6th April 2023, trainers can expect price increases to Remote Raid Passes, new limits to the number of times you can participate in a Remote Raid per day (a maximum of five times per day), and various other Remote Raid adjustments. Niantic explained how it “never intended” Remote Raid Passes to dominate the experience:

Super stable.

Nintendo has rolled out its second firmware update of 2023, bumping the hybrid system up to Version 16.0.1.

This latest update seemingly does far less compared to the previous 16.0.0 update issued in February. 16.0.1 is the usual stability update to enhance the overall user experience. Here are the patch notes in full, courtesy of Nintendo’s official support page:

Horse breeding, Sniffers, and archaeology.

Minecraft has received another update ahead of its big 1.20 launch. Version 1.19.70 is a chunky one with the usual bug fixes and preparation for the new features, but we’re also getting a few changes and a couple of new features ahead of 1.20.

Players will be able to get a sneak peek at Archaeology and the Sniffer mob, which have been added as new experimental features. Horse breeding has also been amended — now your pet horse can give birth to a foal that’s potentially better than it in terms of stats.

Here’s what’s been updated.

Earlier this week, Nintendo rolled out the Wave 4 DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Switch. The patch notes specifically mentioned how Version 2.3.0 improved the performance of “some characters and vehicle customisations” and now we know what exactly has been updated.

Here’s the rundown courtesy of the Japanese website Mario Kart Blog via Meester_Tweester on the Mario Kart subreddit) – explaining how most racers have had their ground, water, air and anti-gravity speed stats increased. Other characters, vehicles and tires have also had their mini-turbo values increased.
