AMD’s new generation architecture is the basis of Ryzen 7 5800X, which is one of the most powerful CPUs for gaming. It has an 8-core/16thread CPU with a 3.8GHz base speed, 4.7GHz maximum boost clock and 32MB L3 cache. This chip supports PCI Express 4.0. If paired with a compatible motherboard (X570, B550 mostly), it can take full advantage the fastest PCIe 4.0 SSDs available.
